Libby made quilts for her grandsons for Christmas. The boys picked out the fabrics themselves so the finished quilts were extra special. One is made using using all John Deere tractor prints. Guess what his favorite toys are.

The pictures of Libby's sister show her using the Long Arm Quilting Machine. This is a wonderful machine and makes quilting a large quilt so much easier. A full quilt can be done in a few hours.

After you finish looking at the pictures from our Class, please leave a comment. If you would like to participate in the Class, we meet on wednesday evenings from 7 to 9. You can contact me at 291-5977, or call Lenora Birchfield.

The Holidays are behind us and it's time to start sewing again. I made aprons for gifts this year and will post them here for you to see. My grandkids loved theirs. Several other people made aprons too, but no one has sent me pictures to post yet, so will have to add them later.

Our first class of '09 will be on wednesday 1-14. We'll probably decide on some new projects to work on and many will be finishing up works in progress. Anyone is welcome to come and join us for an evening of sewing each wednesday from 7 to 9. We make many other projects besides quilts. It's a fun, helpful group. I have some ideas for Valentines Day table runners running around in my head, so I'll try to get something actually put together to show. See you wednesday.
